We are looking for a Process Improvement Specialist to join our Operations team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about continuous improvements and can identify issues and come up with solutions.

As the Process Improvement Specialist, you will research and analyze and identify opportunities for **improvement** in all **manufacturing processes**
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Develop long-term process quality plans and monitor their execution.
- Lead process Improvement projects directly related to achievement of company goals and financial objectives.
- Utilize internal performance data and customer feedback to identify opportunities to improve quality, service, and cost within the company.
- Measure process improvement benefits after changes are implemented.
- Teaching, leading, and coaching cross-functional teams on Lean tools and methodology
- Working to continuously improve processes both on the production floor as well as transactional by collaborating with multiple functions such as logistics
- General and Task Management _
- Within area of responsibility analyze current work practices to identify areas for improvement and educate as to how to improve business and manufacturing processes. Devise and test solutions and roll out new ways of working
- Participate in Lean health checks and go/no goes
- Perform workplace audits and streamlining processes within area of responsibility
- Process mapping, value stream mapping, identifying inefficiencies in productivity with a particular focus on layouts and sequencing
- Recommend to management changes that can cut waste from operating procedures
- Deploy appropriate methodologies to problem solving and support teams to solve problems. Ensure the escalation process for problem solving is effective
- Demonstrate performance excellence behaviors within the business and champion performance excellence
- Support the business in establishing “best practice”
- Implement standard work, visual factory, and error proofing (poka-yoke)
- Undertake continuous training and development
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
- Carry out time and motion studies to support productivity improvements
- Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems
- Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them
- Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department
**What your qualifications are**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering
- Continuous Improvement/Lean Green Belt Certificate
- Communication: must work with all levels of the organization, so communication is key to obtaining buy-in and being an agent of change/continuous improvement. They must explain the reasons and how to make changes in the organization. Must be clear in both verbal and written English.
- Must understand the following Lean practices:
- Continuous Improvement, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping
