**International Rate Desk Specialist - Remote**

**Position Overview**

As a key member of the Direct Savings Desk, the DSD rate specialist will be responsible for commission calculations, net/bulk ticketing, airline waivers, problem solving, and international rate calculations in in the United States and Canada. This role will work closely with the Direct Savings Desk team, and report to the Director of Enterprise Airline Optimization.This is a full-time remote position with in-office workspace available in some cities.-
**Responsibilities**
- Audit missed commission reports to correct/add through ARC or BSP Solve escalated airline ticketing problems through various channels
- Test and troubleshoot airline contracts
- Issue tickets using scripts for net fare programs
- Process exchanges for discounted tickets issued by DSD
- Solve problems, identify root causes & trends to determine best practices.
- Research Debit Memos & Commission Recall Statements
- Interface with various DT/Vision/ATPI offices globally

**Basic Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Expert proficiency Sabre or Apollo, (including international faring & commissions, queue management, ticketing), desire and ability to learn another GDS
- Detail oriented and work well in a high volume environment
- Strong knowledge of commission contract interpretation
- Experience with corporate air contracts
- Experience with airline net fare programs or consolidator tickets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Desire to embrace technology and maximize efficiencies through its capabilities
- Works well independently as well as within a group
- Must be able to lawfully work within the US or Canada and have unrestricted work authorization for US or Canada

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Proficiency in multiple GDS’s
- Success loading commission contracts into automated commission management tools
- Success automating net-fare markup/redistribution in North America
- Experience with PNR flow through GDS and mid-office
- Experience sourcing content from non-traditional sources - NDC, Global Faring
