**Overview**: We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor for a temporary contract with possibility of a permanent position in the future. This position would require working on-site at our Facility in Masson-Angers (Gatineau) 2-3 days a week.

The AR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable and collections process and managing a team of 2 AR clerks. Tasks include the following:

- Manage accounts receivable monthly close activities;
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc reports;
- Work directly with external auditor on a quarterly/annual basis to support audit requests;
- Ensure monthly reconciliations of all customer accounts;
- Ensure timely collection of company receivables according to terms and work cross-functionally to escalate/support non-payment issues as required;
- Implement, manage and maintain internal controls over processes and quality;
- Manage customer credit limits;
- Set objectives for the accounts receivable team that align with finance goals and monitor progress;
- Support and mentor the accounts receivable team members;
- Recommend improvements for gathering, summarizing and reporting financial information;

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounts receivable, including supervisory experience
- University and/or College diploma in Accounting or Business is an asset
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and works with a strong sense of urgency
- Team management skills
- Knowledge of ICFR (NI 52-109)
- Knowledge of SOX Compliance
- He/she must demonstrate a commitment to excellence and attention to detail, delivering accurate information and balanced analysis in a consistent and timely manner.
- Bilingualism (both verbal and written French) is a strong asset.
