This is a full-time position that will be reporting directly to the VP of Operations of Sani Gear Inc.

Sani Gear Inc. is a private company that works directly with Fire Departments, ensuring the safety of firefighters’ gear. Our company performs cleaning, repairing, inspection and testing of bunker gears, working with departments from coast to coast. This is a unique business which is expanding, and we are looking for Receiving & Shipping Coordinator.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Coordinate Shipping & Receiving activities working in liaison with Supervisor and other floor managers
- Meeting shipping deadlines satisfying delivery requirements working with internal fleet and external couriers, working in liaison with Quality and Repair Departments to stay within schedule and meeting clients’ expectations
- Produce proper shipping and receiving documentations, labeling, tracking, and recording
- Manage internal tracking system, update dashboards and inform staff on urgencies and timelines for shipments to be sent back to clients
- Proactively research, investigate and manage any issues with shipping and receiving
- Coordinate activities of the Receiving, Shipping and Folding staff to ensure consistent process flow and compliance with deadline
- Inspiring and motivating staff to meet delivery deadlines, provide a quality service and contribute to a cost-efficient process
- Manage timesheets ensuring that time of employees is accounted properly in time tracking system towards payroll deadlines
- Utilizing Salesforce and Automation record and track shipments from different Fire Departments, their status during the processing and meeting shipment deadlines
- Coordinate driving schedules with office and control internal deliveries
- Coordinate transportation staff, providing them with guidance, support and planning
- Ensure that all steps taken in Receiving and Shipping follow the NFPA 1851 standards
- Provide support, schedule, and facilitate Health & Safety training of new and current staff
- Work on the development of the Receiving and Shipping Departments processes, workflow, and cost-efficiency of operating workflow.

We are looking for:

- Ability to do manual work such as unpack, fold, sort, work with some machinery and computers, maintenance, and other duties as assigned by the manager
- Provide Police background check from Police station
- Attention to details / dependable
- Great communications and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs and able to work physically for 8 hours per day

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
