You should be a decisive individual who can assess situations, make informed decisions, and be willing to learn from experiences. **General Labourer Responsibilities** - Assist with property maintenance, including cleaning, landscaping, and minor repairs - Perform basic painting, patching, and other surface repairs - Load, unload, and move materials as needed - Use hand and power tools for general maintenance tasks - Assist tradespeople and contractors as required - Learn and develop skills in carpentry, including framing, drywall installation, trim work, and finishing - Ensure work areas are clean and organized - Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times - Perform other duties as assigned **Worker Requirements** - Experience in general labour, property maintenance, or construction is an asset but not required - Interest in developing carpentry skills and growing into a carpenter position - Ability to use common tools such as hammers, drills, and wrenches - Skilled in the use of and access to hand and power tools - Strong organizational and follow-up skills - Attention to detail and ability to work independently - Professional presentation and attitude - Strong time management skills - Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle - Drive a **truck and trailer** to transport materials and equipment as needed **Job Details** - **Hours**: Approx 40 hours per week - **Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent - **Salary**: Base pay starting at $20/hr, with potential earnings up to $30/hr based on experience and performance Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Additional pay: - Bonus pay **Benefits**: - Company events Schedule: - Day shift Licence/Certification: - driver's license (required) Work Location: In person
