Material Handling & Picking:

Discovery Dream Homes Ltd. is seeking a hardworking and dependable General Labourer / Yard Hand for a temporary position supporting our production and yard team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, stays organized, and can thrive in a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking lumber and building materials for production
  • Preparing, packing, and staging customer and job-site orders
  • Ensuring material accuracy and quality during selection

Yard & Shop Support:

  • Organizing and maintaining the yard and material storage areas
  • Assisting with loading and unloading trucks
  • Keeping work areas clean, safe, and orderly
  • Providing general support to production staff when required

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, construction, or general labour role is an asset
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Forklift experience or certification is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
