We’re looking for an experienced, enrichment-focused dog walker to join our small but mighty team at Curious Snoots. This isn’t your average dog-walking gig. It’s a role for someone who _geeks out_ about behaviour, gets jazzed about building trust with reactive dogs, and wants to grow their skills in a positive, community-driven company.

**What We’re Looking For**:
**Dog Behaviour Nerds Welcome**

You already know the difference between positive reinforcement and leash popping or you’re excited to learn. Maybe you’re a dog training student, a shelter volunteer, or a CPDT-KA in the making. You don’t need to be a pro, but you do need to take dogs seriously.

**Must-Haves**:

- Pet First Aid Certification (or be willing to get)
- Professional Dog Walker Certification (e.g., PS-DW) or equivalent
- Confidence handling sensitive, excitable, or reactive dogs
- Located in or near New Westminster
- Available weekdays 10am-2pm, rain or shine
- Reliable transportation (bike, car, or public transit)

**Bonus Points For**:

- Experience with leash reactivity, fear-based behaviours, or muzzle training
- Shadowed or trained under a behaviourist, vet tech, or pro trainer
- Willingness to grow into a leadership, training, or mentorship role as we expand

**What You’ll Do**:

- Walk dogs 1-on-1 using enrichment, and structured engagement
- Build real relationships, with both dogs and their humans
- Write thoughtful updates (yes, grammar matters) with photos and short videos
- Show up in all kinds of weather with calm energy and presence
- Join team learning sessions, offer feedback, and co-create new systems as we grow

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
