- As the Flight Coordination Lead you will be at the helm of our fleet's operations, leading every aspect from pre-flight preparations to post-flight evaluations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while also guaranteeing an exceptional client experience.
**SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Oversee the comprehensive flight management of the fleet, including optimizing operational schedules to adhere to airport requirements and regulations set forth by various airport authorities/aviation authorities such as CARs, FAA, EASA, US DOT, CTA, CBSA, TSA, and any related investigation.
- Foster strong working relationships between the Flight Coordination team and Flight Crews, cultivating a healthy organizational and inclusive culture, while optimizing collaboration and efficiency.
- Ensure seamless flight management by overseeing work assignments, balancing workloads, and actively monitoring operational irregularities to provide optimal support to both crew and clients.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors for after-hours, international trip support and flight following, ensuring seamless coordination and compliance.
- Enhance and spearhead the implementation of the division-wide training program aligned with standard operating procedures and company policies.
- Develop department operating standards in consultation with management, and promote company defined standard operating procedures and company policies.
- Additional duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Aviation Management, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in flight management, flight dispatch, or flight coordination and equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
- Proven leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail
- Exhibits a positive team-oriented attitude and maintain a strong work ethic.
- Possesses exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Thrives in high-pressure situation and collaborates effectively across organizational boundaries.
- Flexibility to provide coverage and support outside of regular business hours as required.
- Experience with RockwellCollins’ Flight Operation Systems (FOS) is highly preferred.
