**About SNIWWOC**:
The Support Network for Indigenous Women & Women of Colour (SNIWWOC) is committed to the empowerment of women. We operate from a holistic and integrated service model that addresses the social, cultural and political realities of immigrant and Indigenous communities, using a reproductive justice framework that prioritizes food, art, and education. We are one of a handful of reproductive justice organizations in the country, focusing on the wellbeing of Indigenous women and women of colour.

We believe that when women and girls live a life free from violence, they can fully realize and exercise their sexual and reproductive health and rights. When young people have access to accurate information and services on sexual and reproductive health, they can make informed decisions about their bodies and lives.

**About the Position**:
We are seeking an experienced professional to coordinate some of SNIWWOC's programs. The position will also provide referrals, answer inquiries and advocate for SNIWWOC clients across the country.

Location: Quadra Village (in-person work required 2 days a week)

Hours: 15/week

Wage: $28/hour

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Engaging with clients in a professional and culturally sensitive manner;
- Providing program information and support to SNIWWOC clients;
- Tracking program supplies;
- Share inventory reports and follow up so products are being repurchased;
- Support in packaging delivery and shipment of the products from our Victoria office which are being sent out to clients;
- Review program survey responses and act upon them accordingly;
- Updating program trackers, program policies, website pages, and manuals regularly;
- Monitor completion of all program records and complete outcome reports to the Program Manager and Executive Director for inclusion in reports to funders, annual reports, and program planning;
- Monitor program expenses, submit all program expenses to relevant staff, and keep records compliant with contracted financial management requirements;
- Updating program metrics and keeping track of the number of program participants and beneficiaries monthly;
- Lead workshops and events and provide the necessary support and service linked to them;
- Develop and strengthen referral pathways and linkages with appropriate organizations and services;
- Advocate for the health and well-being of all SNIWWOC clients;
- Conduct outreach and assist in finding additional program partners;
- Contribute to developing and maintaining a positive, supportive, and collaborative team environment;
- Attend monthly community dinner in our office with our clients and community members;
- Participate in staff and volunteer meetings.

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- 2+ years in program coordination and/or working in a similar capacity;
- Strong administrative and organizational skills for the purpose of program record management and document creation;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Strong budgeting and logistic skills/ experiences acquired from previous career or studies;
- To have the required research skills to help brainstorm for program development;
- Thorough knowledge of challenges facing indigenous women & women of colour in Canada;
- Strong knowledge of local health & social service organizations and supports offered by these organizations;
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
