_**Summary**_

To produce precision parts in accordance with drawing specifications and per customer and company standards by setting up and operating a variety of heavy manual machinery.
- **Primary Responsibility**_
- Set-up and operate machines such as: Lathes, Boring Mill, Milling Machine and Radial arm drills
- Validate quality of products using measurement devices; record dimensions and highlight deviated dimensions.
- Ensures high-quality product through adherence to drawings, quality standards and operating procedures.
- Communicates effectively with Supervisors, engineers and production planners regarding requirements and scheduling.
- Reads diagrams, specifications, and schematic drawings.
- Operates overhead & mobile cranes, mobile equipment (forklifts, boom lifts).
- Always demonstrates good housekeeping practices to help maintain a safe work area.
- **Qualifications**_
- Manual Machinist with minimum 5 years practical experience
- Excellent English communication skills - verbal and written.
- First Aid ticket an asset
- Work in a dynamic, fast paced, custom product environment.
- Able to work with a variety of materials; steel, Stainless steel, Delrin, UMHW, aluminum, etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
