Maibec CanExel is located in East River, Nova Scotia (just outside of Hubbards). The location is 1 minute off Exit 7 from Highway #103, making it an easy commute of approximately 30 minutes from Bayers Lake or Bridgewater.

We are currently expanding our operations team. Production / Equipment Operators are an integral part of our team and are leaders in safe practices.

Our starting rate of pay in this position is a minimum of **20.62/hr**. After training, you can earn up to **$24.40/hr** by the end of your first year and up to **$30.50/hr** by the end of your second year. We also offer an additional **$1.15/hr** for shift premium when working on night shift. Maibec CanExel offers a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental plans, short term disability, long term disability, life insurance, Employee & Family Assistance Program and a generous retirement plan with a maximum company contribution of **5.5%** of your earnings.
- Operating vehicles & equipment
- Operating production line equipment
- Equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance
- Quality control

**Requirements**:

- Ability and desire to work varying shifts - 8-hour shifts, 12-hour shifts, days, nights, weekends, holidays
- Experience working in an industrial environment would be considered an asset
- Forklift and/or heavy equipment operator experience would be considered an asset

All offers of employment are conditional on successful completion of a background check and pre-employment medical testing.
