**Office Hours**:
Monday to Thursday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

**About the Role**:
- Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professionalism
- Clinical chairside assisting duties for a variety of dental procedures
- Sterilization and disinfection with required reporting
- Prepare treatment rooms in accordance with best practices of infection control
- Thorough understanding and respect of health and safety requirements
- Assist dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary
- Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records and appointments
- Ensure all treatment consent forms have been completed and gathered
- Provide post-operative care instructions as required
- Ensuring all clinical and storage areas are clean and organized
- Collaborate with colleagues during down-time in schedule
- Attend continuing education events from time to time and as required
**Requirements**:
- Graduate from applicable Dental Assisting Program (Level II is required for this role)
- Successful completion of the National Dental Assisting Examining Board (NDAEB)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail, organized and reliable
- Additional certification or training is an asset
