The Opportunity
Your Impact
- Maintain strict compliance with all company policies, including ensuring the proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
- Operate and tend production equipment, following all manufacturing and processing procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency
- Ensure production outputs consistently meet safety, quality, and on-time delivery standards for customer satisfaction and cost control
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on all equipment and tools to ensure optimal operational status.
- Monitor, detect, and safely resolve equipment malfunctions and out-of-tolerance machining by adjusting controls to maintain product quality
- Report and record any defective products
- Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at the end of the day.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity, product quality, and safety
Your Experience, Skills & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent, vocational or technical training is an asset
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and safety regulations in manufacturing is an asset
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Basic computer skills for data logging to input and track production data.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
- Ability to operate required equipment, such as a fork lift, in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
