**About Us**:
Foothills Creamery has proudly produced dairy products and served Western Canada for over 50 years. We produce butter and ice cream, now offering over 80 different flavors of ice cream, sorbet, sherbet, and soft serve. We take pride in using locally sourced ingredients and continue to use the same old-fashioned, barrel churned techniques as we did in 1969.

The Production Worker is a valuable part of the production team, which is responsible for meeting company production targets while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The Production Worker sets up production, operates processing equipment, packages and labels products, and maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.

**We are looking to hire for our** **Morning Shift with typical hours of 6:00am to 2:00pm.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Load or unload ingredients and products to or from the production line
- Package butter and ice cream products into boxes
- Monitor finished products to ensure they are produced and packaged according to specifications
- Operate, clean, and sanitize food processing and packaging equipment
- Perform routine checks to ensure proper and consistent operation of machinery
- Maintain accurate and detailed production and sanitation records
- Provide support to production team members and other staff
- Perform housekeeping tasks during the shift

**Requirements**:
We require an applicant that has thorough attention to detail and can work with others. Having a background in manufacturing or production is strongly preferred especially from a food and beverage environment. Applicants must be willing to work weekdays. Additional requisites are as follows:

- Able to regularly lift up to 25kg
- Able to withstand noise and freezing environments for short periods of time (-25C)
- Previous food handling or sanitation training is strongly preferred
- Previous experience with pallet jacks and power jacks
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production line is an asset
- Math, analytical skills, hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are essential
- Good verbal and written skills for communicating effectively with others
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and extended periods of standing
