This position is responsible to drive revenue growth in the Windsor to Chatham area, enhance customer satisfaction, and expand the company's market presence through proactive customer support, new customer acquisition and accurate estimation.

This role will interact with the Zelus Operations Service Manager, the Zelus sales representative in London, the estimating and project management team. This role will also interact with the Ventri General Manager, branch managers and estimator/project managers in Windsor and London and interact with customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Fielding incoming customer inquiries for preventive maintenance, repairs and new installations
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities in the region through networking, cold calling, and other means to generate leads and expand the customer base
- Take field measurements and information to send in for Estimate for new overhead cranes, overhead doors, automatic doors and locksmithing (Essex County Locksmith)
- Maintains regular contact with existing customers to ensure realization of customers’ expectations
- Develop a deep understanding of the products or services offered to effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value propositions to customers
- Prepare and deliver accurate price quotes, proposals, and estimates based on customer requirements
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales transactions using CRM systems or other sales tracking tools. Complete administrative tasks such as preparing reports, expense claims, and sales forecasts as required
- Performs follow-ups as required
- Adhere to all Zelus’ Policies and Procedures, the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Regulations for Industrial Establishments, and actively participate in training programs as required
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation (OHSA), promote safe working practices including safe equipment operation, hazard reporting, and awareness of rights Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales
- High school diploma and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Technical proficiency
- Strong computer skills; MS Office
- Strong interpersonal skills; deals with conflict effectively
- Clean driving record (Licenced in Ontario) and use of personal vehicle
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and drawings
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Proficiency in basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and percentages
