West Bay Shipyards is looking for an experienced **Fiberglass & Finishing Foreman** to lead our coatings crew. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone skilled in fiberglass repairs, fairing, gelcoat, and polyurethane topcoats - ready to step up and guide a team.

You’ll work on some of the finest yachts in the Pacific Northwest, where precision and craftsmanship matter. If you’ve got the skills and the drive, this is your opportunity to turn experience into leadership and be part of a family-owned yard with long-term stability.

**What You’ll Do**
- Perform fiberglass repairs and new part fabrication (polyester, epoxy, vinylester)
- Carry out fairing on yacht hulls and components (epoxy & polyester systems)
- Handle gelcoat repairs, color matching, and blend spray work
- Oversee sanding, priming, polishing, and surface prep
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians; delegate tasks effectively
- Manage inventory, materials, and job site organization
- Ensure quality control, safe practices, and a clean work environment

**What We’re Looking For**
- 10+ years in yacht, marine, or composite finishing (fiberglass, paint, coatings)
- 5+ years in a foreman/leadership role
- Strong knowledge of fairing, gelcoat, and polyurethane systems
- Experience with high-end finishing products (Awlgrip, Alexseal, etc.)
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering luxury-quality finishes
- Tech-friendly (comfortable using tablets for reports/inventory)
- Valid driver’s license preferred

**Work Environment**
- Indoor paint bays and outdoor yard work
- Yachts ranging 50-110 ft.
- PPE provided (except steel toe boots); full safety training included

**Schedule**
- Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Overtime available
