Material Handler/ Day Shift

Merlin Plastic is a well-diversified, growing plastic recycler, and plastic extrusion pellet producer with multiple operations within North America.

Merlin Plastic is looking for a Material Handler at Delta location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for fillings bag and boxes; maintain flow in and out of the silos, as well as preparing, loading rail carts weighing and labeling accordingly.
- Clean and maintain constantly, placing dirt and garbage into Gaylord and according
- Prepare all cardboard Gaylord and arrange skids.
- Clean loading/unloading system in silo area.
- Maintain housekeeping in working area at all times
- Keep the warehouse and yard clean and always organized.
- Keep receiving record and shipping out record.
- To load and unload trucks, trailers or railcars when necessary, Verify that orders are correct.

**Position Requirements**:

- Ability to work with a diverse cross-cultural workforce.
- Experience in Plastic industry is an asset.
- Experience in Material Handling/ Loading and Unloading or Shipping role.
- Able to drive a Forklift.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Precise attention to detail
