**Position overview**
The Program Manager is responsible for organizing and managing large-scale production processes for both existing programs and new program launching. Leads the multifunctional internal teams and suppliers to assure the smooth execution of the manufacturing process and validation process. Coordinates communications with clients to meet requirements and schedules and proactively handles internal and external issues. Requires a high degree of risk management experience to lead the success of delivery and customer relationship.
**What you’ll do**:
- Primary point of contact between the company and the client. Reports to the Pontosense’s executives directly
- Establishes and governs program timing schedules and milestones for development, and production. Monitors adherence to client contract requirements
- Manages tasks and files necessary for APQP and PPAP activities on assigned programs. Knows and understands process documentation and customer-specific requirements as they relate to the program
- Identifies and resolves potential program issues. Oversees program-related engineering change activity with a focus on adherence to established processes, timely change implementation and cost control
- Involved in the business development process including new and replacement business. Supports and coordinates with other departments in the preparation of RFQs, proposals, and SOW
- Establishes, administers and implements program budgets with the rest of the team
- Provide regular future sales forecast updates to assist in the upfront capacity planning process
- Assists Program Managers in other regions if the program is a global program
**Who you are**:
- Minimum of 5 years automotive experience with OEM(s), and Tier 1 companies
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project/program management experience at tier 1 automotive level
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in the automotive industry is required
- Flexibility to travel throughout North America and Europe
- Experience with OEM product development management systems
- High degree of risk management and problem-solving independently and proactively
- Have a strong set of interpersonal skills; high EQ, positive attitude, and team player
- Drive success, create value, and make an impact
