**Job Title**: Technical Project Administrator

**Location**: Etobicoke, ON

**General Accountability**:
The Technical Project Administrator provides support to the Engineering team by coordinating and maintaining information locally and with Corporate for the execution of engineering projects.

**Critical Success Factors**:

- Assist Project Managers by contacting vendors and coordinating request for tenders, estimates, and proposal evaluations. Provide project and contract administration documents, obtain responses and review with Project Manager.
- Act as liaison with Corporate office with respect to capital projects by receiving questions and providing responses. Follow up and provide guidance to plants and project managers on the completion of documents and reports.
- Assist Project Managers to prepare project approval documents (i.e., project details such as scope, type, cost, and budget) and track the status. Review documents for accuracy and identify discrepancies and submit to Corporate office for approval.
- Prepare reports such as project monthly reporting package by collecting and compiling data for items such as monthly cash out and production capacity and submit to the Director of Engineering.
- Perform clerical duties such as maintaining filing systems and databases for technical files, records, project archives, and vendors/contractors.
- Ensure that project status is updated by following up on project development and approval with Project Managers and providing information on correct project procedures to follow.
- College diploma in and industrial field such as mechanical, electrical, chemical, or quality assurance
- Minimum three (3) years related experience
- Highly proficient with standard office computer technology such as Lotus notes, Microsoft Office products (including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and the Internet (i.e. online research skills)
- Ability to understand and recognize priorities, deadlines and execute with a sense of urgency. Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to act proactively and present recommendations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Good communicator, listener and presenter.
- Ability to adapt to changing culture/environment
