**Role Summary**
**Major Areas of Responsibility**
- Provide Internal Support & Hardware Management on laptop, desktop, mobile device, telephones, printer, and projector system lifecycle management, both at HQ and on client sites.
- Develop and improve methods and processes within the IT function - ex: how trouble tickets are raised/closed, process, etc.
- Take part in project work, planning and implementation of future IT developments and collaborate with Developers to develop solutions on client site.
- Administer, maintain and deploy server infrastructure & environments (servers, MicroStrategy, databases) with mínimal support.
- Work closely with vendors for hardware/software conformity and security.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other: *
- Around 4-6 years’ experience as an IT Systems Administrator or Infra/Network Specialist
- Detailed, practical working knowledge in Cloud technologies, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems, Unix, Security and policies.
- Knowledge of Windows Server (LDAP, IIS, NFS), VPNs, Scheduling systems
- Configuring network infrastructure (TCP/IP, Firewall, routers, subnet, Gateway, VPC for AWS, etc.)
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure
- General knowledge in, MS Office, Python, Google Cloud Platform is an asset.
- Critical thinking capabilities and a consultative mindset with proactive approach
- Collaborating with internal teams (Project X ltd.), external teams (non-Project X 3rd parties), and client team members.
- A diploma or degree in a technology field would be an asset
