As our team grows, we are looking for a tech-savvy, people-oriented **Technical Support Associate** who will serve as a vital bridge between our technology and our clients. **About the Role**
As a **Technical Support Associate**, you’ll be the first line of support for clients and internal teams using our software, hardware, and system integration products. You’ll assist with troubleshooting, documentation, and user experience, ensuring our solutions perform reliably and seamlessly across installations. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who enjoys learning, takes initiative, and thrives in a collaborative technical environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Troubleshoot software, firmware, and hardware issues related to AdaptTO’s integration platforms
- Document support cases, technical notes, and resolutions clearly and accurately
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
- Assist with system testing, updates, and deployments
- Create and update client-facing knowledge base articles and user documentation
- Deliver a professional, customer-first experience on every interaction
- Monitor system alerts and performance logs to proactively identify and address issues
- Participate in product onboarding and client training sessions as needed
**What You Bring**
- Previous experience in a technical support, help desk, or field service role
- Basic knowledge of networking, electrical systems, or energy platforms (training provided)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, Freshdesk) is an asset
- Familiarity with renewable energy, power electronics, or SCADA systems is a bonus
- Post-secondary education in engineering, computer science, energy systems, or a related field is preferred
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and located in the Greater Toronto Area
