Order Entry Clerk

Job description
We are a wholesale manufacturer of custom glass and mirror servicing the greater Toronto area, and are currently seeking an Order Entry Clerk to join our team. This role works directly under the Order Desk Lead. The compensation package includes an hourly wage of $18-19/hour as well as extended health and dental benefits (after 3 months of employment).
**Responsibilities**:
- Review orders for completeness and accuracy
- Enter orders received from customers into the production software package
- Answering incoming phone calls to assist customers or call customers to clarify information in their orders
- File paperwork and maintain an orderly system
- Create Purchase Orders
- Other tasks and duties as assigned by management
**Qualifications**:
- 1 to 3 years in a similar office role
- Knowledge of glass and/or manufacturing would be an asset, but not required
- Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or similar field an asset, but not required.
**Skills Requirements**:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (fluent proficiency level in English)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks as required
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of basic office functions
**Hours of Work**
- Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:15pm
