**Review and Assessment Officer
The College of Early Childhood Educators (the College) supports high-quality early learning and care by regulating more than 58,000 members of the profession in the public interest, pursuant to the Early Childhood Educators Act, 2007. Reporting to the Manager, Registration, the key areas of responsibility are to:

- Assess educational qualifications of Canadian and internationally trained applicants who hold credentials that are not on the College’s approved education programs list.
- Administer the membership suspension, revocation, reinstatement and resignation processes.
- Create invoices, process payments and submit refund requests in accordance with the College’s financial policies.
- Create/update/remove terms, conditions or limitations on a member’s file that will appear on the Public Register.
- Generate reports for reporting to Committees/Council and other third parties.
- Communicate with applicants and members of the public to respond to inquiries, explain document requirements, the registration process and College policies and investigate problems/errors with member files.
- Provide input into the development of internal guidelines and policies.

**Qualifications**
- Four-year college or university program.
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or other related background.
- Knowledge of best practices in credential evaluation/assessment.
- Knowledge of office/administration software.
- Analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and judgement skills to assess qualifications and review/make recommendations on how to proceed on non-routine applicant and member files.
- Verbal and written communication skills to summarize and explain files/College processes and write correspondence to applicants/members.
- Attention to detail to screen and assess a high volume of documentation and navigate between several databases to find information.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage a high volume of applicant and member files and adhere to processing times and deadlines.

L’Ordre est à la recherche d’un agent* d’examen et d’évaluation rigoureux, qui sera responsable de l’examen et de l’évaluation des demandes d’inscription non courantes comportant des questions relatives aux études, aux problèmes de conduite professionnelle pouvant influencer la pratique et à des situations uniques concernant l’admissibilité à travailler au Canada. Le titulaire du poste administrera également le processus de suspension, de rétablissement d’adhésion, de démission et de révocation des membres sous la direction de la registrateure.

Relevant de la chef, Inscription, il assumera les principales responsabilités suivantes:

- Évaluer les diplômes et la formation des demandeurs formés au Canada et à l’étranger dont les diplômes ne figurent pas sur la liste des programmes d’études approuvés par l’Ordre.
- Administrer les processus de suspension, de révocation, de rétablissement d’adhésion et de démission.
- Établir des factures, traiter les paiements et soumettre des demandes de remboursement conformément aux politiques financières de l’Ordre.
- Ajouter, mettre à jour ou retirer les conditions ou restrictions dont un membre fait l’objet et figurant au tableau public.
- Produire des rapports pour les comités, le conseil et des tierces parties.
