Hauser’s is seeking an innovative and disciplined **Retail Operations District Manager in a full time position**. This role would be responsible for engaging, managing and motivating store employees, along with planning and implementing weekly sales/training meetings with your team. Along with overseeing the daily retail store operation which includes day-to-day operations, the Retail Operations District Manager would also train and develop processes around merchandising activities, recruitment and training of new employees, scheduling and inventory management.

**Responsibilities**
- Organizing and maintaining high level of store operations effectively to ensure customer satisfaction
- Working closely with the Front Shop Managers (FSM) to set and achieve goals and sales targets
- Review store front employee performance and assisting with further training as required
- Develop consolidated purchasing strategies and process.
- Inspire, lead and motivate store teams to excel in their positions.
- Analyze key financial metrics and observable behaviors to identify and maximize sales driving opportunities.
- Maintaining retail locations appearance, creating ideas for new displays, ensuring product is properly presented
- Coordinating with purchasers to ensure proper levels of inventory as well as correct product selection
- Assists with completing performance reviews of staff in conjunction with the FSM
- Maximize district sales performance by providing sales and customer focused leadership to store management teams.
- Recruit, develop and inspire top performing store managers and teams.
- Provide hands-on support to store teams in the understanding and realization of store goals, objectives and budgets.
- Ensure loss prevention policies and procedures are followed to achieve company standards.
- Partner with management team to achieve budgeted sales and payroll.
- Recognize successes, opportunities and challenges and look for ways to improve performance.
- Role model a customer-first mindset. Use daily insight and feedback to improve performance and deliver a best in class customer experience.
**What do you need to succeed?**
- Proven track record in retail management.
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years District Manager experience or senior Store Manager experience.
- Experience in Store Openings, Recruitment and Team Development.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Must be available for travel.
- Flexible availability required (day, evening, weekend);
- Ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities; and
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and high-volume environment.
