We are looking for someone who is in the Waterloo region and able to work in-office due to the nature of work performed.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assemble large mechanical and hydraulic systems, electronic components, electrical wiring and mechanical drivetrains
- Perform electrical crimping, wiring, soldering, and PCB assembly
- Follow assembly and electrical instructions and diagrams
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs as required
- Maintain an organized, tidy, and safe shop environment
**Required Skills/Experience**:
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical engineering drawings and instructions
- Knowledge of how to safely use common hand and power tools
- Experience with electrical wiring, crimping, and soldering
- Safety-first mindset
- Avid problem-solving/troubleshooting attitude and abilities
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and kneel or crouch
- Must be able to comfortably lift up to 50lbs
**Nice to Haves**:
- Previous experience in a start-up manufacturing or small scale production environment
- Experience assembling or repairing hydraulic systems
- Experience with automotive service and repairs
