You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. **Benefits** - Weekly on-call stand by pay is paid monthly in the amount of $100/week ($400/month). - Benefits package available after 3 months - Bonus program which is activated your first day of work and paid out semi annually - RRSP matching program available after 1 year of employment - Interested in pursuing a career in horticulture? We have apprenticeship opportunities available - Paid training Specific Responsibilities: - Performs snow removal duties such as plowing sidewalks, de-icing, shovelling, operating snow blowers. - Addresses clients' questions, comments, and concerns or refers clients to the Team Leader as appropriate - Assists Team Leader with route and job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available - Assists with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Team Leader - Performs other duties as required Job Requirements: - **Valid Driver's License** with clean record - Willingness to work on-call shift work. - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature - Shop is located at 1247 Loudoun Rd, Winnipeg MB - All independently owned and operated franchised businesses operate under the service brands’ marks, trademarks, trade names, logos, emblems, slogans, or other indicia of origin in connection with The Grounds Guys® franchise system within a specified geographical area.
