**Overview**

**Duties**
- Coordinate the preparation of estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create detailed cost estimates and proposals.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
- Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate terms.
- Review plans and specifications to identify potential issues or discrepancies that may impact costs.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and communications throughout the bidding process.
- Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines as needed.
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on estimating progress and address any concerns.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience in construction estimating or a related discipline is preferred.
- Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software, including HeavyBid and Bluebeam, is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of project management principles is an asset.
- A background in construction or engineering is favorable, though not required
