Position: Customer Service Specialist

Daniel et Daniel Catering & Events

Reports Directly to:
1. Answer calls and walk in inquiries

3. Clerical tasks as assigned (and for other departments) as needed including mailing, filing

4. Operate standard office equipment, including a personal computer, phone, fax, postage meter, debit/credit card system, photocopier and catering software

5. Photo Gallery Management - up-loading, naming and filing photos including client tastings, events and menu roll-outs
- 6. _Order and maintain relevant office supplies.

7. Update all print materials and digital files as needed (to include but not limited to menus, signage, food lists, kitchen and/or food shop stickers, phone lists, client lists, venue lists).

8. Design, print, cut and/or frame event signage.

9. Frame inventory and storage maintenance.

10. Special Projects including Event Assembly, POS Creation, Event Branding, & Props

11. Send daily order reminders to consultants and management

12. Order Runs - Running _Production Copies_ to all departments (incl. new orders, changes, and collection of post event copies)

13. Assist management to design, write and edit various documents such as industry awards, internal communications, company policies, employee bios, website content as needed.

14. Maintain an organized work environment.

15. Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety and AODA procedures

16. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and clientele

17. Participate and prepare, transcribe, compose, type, edit and distribute minutes and agendas of Operations & Sales meetings as required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Post-secondary education in a discipline pertinent to the job function or equivalent
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Understanding and able to practice good client relations
- Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, problem solve, and react quickly to changing circumstances and meet deadlines in stressful situations
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written
- Willingness to learn and take on extra responsibilities as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
