Dental Receptionist/administrator

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details, ensuring all documentation is complete.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Communicate effectively with dental staff to ensure smooth operations throughout the office.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and procedures to assist patients accurately.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and administrative duties within a healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in Tracker and MaxAssist is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide outstanding patient care.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.62-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
