**Job Overview**

**Key responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to)**:

- Implementing engaging programming tailored to the interests and needs of the children.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the environment.
- Leading and supporting children in integrated learning and recreational activities.
- Actively supervising and engaging with children while ensuring their well-being.
- Assisting in providing regular communication to parents.
- At least one year of experience working in childcare/daycare setting.
- Cultivating positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Thrive in working with a large group (32 children & 4 teachers).
- Participating in professional development initiatives.
- Desire and ability to work with children with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability.
- Adhering to Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Regulations and Magic Mountain's policies and procedures to ensure quality care.
- Other responsibilities as assigned such as maintaining cleanliness, organization of classroom materials and diaper changing duties.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.25-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- childcare/daycare: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
