**Responsibilities**:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and assist customers at the cash register
- Direct customer concern or questions to the pharmacist
- Keep the workplace clean, neat and professional
- Enter patient information and medication orders into the computer system as needed
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy technician certification or previous pharmacy experience preferred
- Professional attitude and attire required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Kroll pharmacy software an asset

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team in providing quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists with medication preparation, maintaining inventory, processing prescription orders, and providing exceptional customer service. To excel in this role, you should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A pharmacy technician certification is preferred but not required. Join our team and contribute to the well-being of our patients in a community setting.

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
