WHAT TO EXPECT Soucy Motorsports is looking for a Production Manager to supervise the production operations and their support teams (ex: planning, manufacturing engineering...). His/her objective will be to maximize efficiency, optimize our operations in terms of automation and achieve our ambitious growth objectives. **Here's an overview of your tasks**: Develop manufacturing strategy and execute initiatives to achieve the company's strategic objectives and operational excellence in the short, medium and long term Define the objectives and develop the action plan for the department, ensuring that the organization's growth plan and the subsidiary's strategic plan are respected and achieved Prepare the operating budget for his/her department based on the objectives to be met and implement cost management initiatives Supported by his team, see to the revision and constant improvement of the production processes and methods and of the operations layout Monitor and control the various performance indicators and initiate, with the help of his/her managers, action plans to improve efficiency Identify, plan and control the implementation of sustainable solutions to achieve the objectives of the production sector (costs, deadlines, quality, etc.) Coordinate, with engineering, the introduction of new technologies and products Represent the company on committees with senior managers of the company WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering or operations management or equivalent experience Minimum of 10 years experience in team management in a manufacturing company, including at least 5 years in a supervisory position in a unionized environment Knowledge of management practices ("Lean manufacturing", Kanban, Kaisen, TPS, 5S) Strong orientation towards continuous improvement Bilingualism WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER Permanent, full-time position Flexible schedules that allow you to balance your work and your personal life Group insurance (different plans adapted to your needs) Registered Retirement Savings Plan with employer contributions Employee and family assistance program Social activities.
