The challenges you will face will match your expertise and allow you to think outside the box Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all production activities at the plant, while ensuring a safe working environment Act as a coach and ensure the skills development of a team of 20 to 25 unionized employees Support the achievement of objectives and the completion of quality activities Ensure performance standards are met Implement improvement initiatives that can influence the daily results and efficiency of your employees Qualifications Technical degree or high school diploma in mechanical or industrial engineering, manufacturing, or any other relevant experience 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and personnel management (ideally in a unionized environment) Good knowledge of metalworking processes, particularly machining and/or painting Good understanding of management practices (Lean manufacturing, Kanban, Kaizen, TPS, 5S) Good leadership combined with good management and interpersonal skills Benefits Group insurance with plans that adapt to your reality An RRSP with employer contributions for solid finances An employee and family assistance program (EFAP) and access to telemedicine services for a helping hand when needed A $2,000 referral bonus for choosing colleagues who are as dedicated to their work as you are And more Social activities to connect with your colleagues Support for your development to advance your career Working at Soucy Track Systems means helping to design and manufacture our flagship product: Soucy track systems.
