The Project Controls Clerk position will report to the Project Controls Leads on the Project.

What Are We Looking For- Job Environment and Travel Requirements:
- This position will be based on site at the CNL Chalk River Campus.
- Core Competencies:

- Excellent Power Query skills (Excel)
- A high attention to detail
- Mathematics / Checking Data for accuracy
- Proven ability to multi-task and efficiently respond to changing priorities.
- Willingness to Learn and take ownership for responsibilities- Project Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

- Cost
- Interface with IPD Team and accounting groups to Collect and enter all Incurred Costs on a weekly basis ensuring accuracy for the work and organizational breakdown structures being billed too.
- Develop, implement, and control the project accounting and job costing system to meet project requirements
- Take ownership of the cost control function and ensure integrity of the data being entered into the cost system.
- Interface with the Project Controls Team to help and support Analysis of data.
- Liaise with the Project Team to clarify cost related issues- Invoicing
- Support with the Issuance of accurate monthly invoices to the Client.
- Liaison with the Project Team to clarify any Invoicing or cost concerns at Month End time frame.
- Help to support invoice matching (Incurred Costs aligning with Invoiced Costs)- Reporting
Helping to support the Lead Project Controllers for the preparation of monthly financial an
- progress reports for the project.
- Also prepare other financial analysis as required on an ad-hoc basis
- Highlight Cost Variances (Incurred vs. Invoiced)
- Provide Analysis of issues and possible mitigations

Required Qualifications:

- Knowledge & proficient use of Power BI / Power Query within Microsoft Excel.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
