Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Counter Attendant to join our team. As a Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring efficient operations at our food service counter. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain experience in the food service industry.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle cash transactions, including operating the cash register and providing accurate change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining area
- Assist with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables or assembling sandwiches
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a positive manner
- Cash handling
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time

**Applicant must have a valid Food Safe Certificate**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
