**About Us**

Cue’s N Cushion Recreational Lounge is a new and exciting destination opening in Delta, BC, blending entertainment, food, and social interaction in a contemporary, family-friendly space. With a premium lounge, a cozy café, multiple games and arcade zones, and a diverse range of community events we aim to offer something for everyone. As we prepare for launch, we are actively seeking motivated, customer-service-driven team members to join us in shaping this dynamic experience from day one.

**Position Summary**

As a Lounge & Café Attendant, you will be a frontline ambassador of our brand. You will rotate across different roles greeting guests, operating the café, assisting with games, and supporting events. This is an active, fast-paced role that requires a high level of energy, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellent service.

**Key Responsibilities**

Welcome guests at reception; explain lounge features, pricing, memberships, and promotions.

Process transactions using POS system; manage guest game cards and redemptions

Operate café station: prepare and serve coffee, cold beverages, and snacks (food-safe procedures must be followed)

Oversee pool tables, dart boards, arcade games, board game checkout, and overall lounge atmosphere

Set up and support events (e.g., karaoke nights, tournaments, birthday/private parties)

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in lounge, café, and washroom areas

Monitor guest safety and respectful behavior throughout the facility

Replenish stock and assist with light inventory tasks

Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and report issues promptly

**Minimum Qualifications**

Minimum age 18+ (due to late-night scheduling and equipment handling)

Valid **FOODSAFE Level 1 Certification** (required at time of hire)

1+ year experience in hospitality, café, customer service, or retail roles preferred

Proficient communication skills in English (verbal and written)

Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and late nights (until 2 AM on peak days)

Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

**Compensation & Benefits**

Overtime pay: Time-and-a-half for hours exceeding 12 hours per day or 40 hours per week

Standard schedule: Up to 40 hours/week (varied shifts, 30-minute unpaid meal break)

Pay frequency: Bi-weekly (direct deposit)
