We’re located in the beautiful city of Kelowna, British Columbia. This position is for the summer term (May, June, July and August), it can be hybrid living in the Kelowna area or remote in Canada.

On the development team for our MIST product, working to create photo-realistic 3D scenes and generate images. You will be working closely with the dataset team to enhance our current dataset and create 3D videos and pictures. Below are the tasks and responsibilities, but don’t be overwhelmed. As long as you have industry experience and have a background in animation, we will work with you to learn the tools and processes listed below.

TASKS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Using Unreal Engine to produce animated 3D scenes.
- Creating complex lighting and camera setups within scenes.
- Creating realistic interactive fluid simulations at varied scales.
- Using render scripts for automated image and metadata output creation.
- Modifying existing models to resemble actual vehicles, ships, aircraft, scenery, or other miscellaneous objects.
- Rigging or use of existing rigging for object manipulation and animation within scenes.
- Learning SCRUM framework, participating in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and daily standups.
- Communicating effectively through daily standups, Slack, and in-person meetings.

COMPENSATION
- $20/hr over 40-hour workweek
