We are currently seeking a Summer Student - HR Assistant

**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Summer Student for the HR Assistant role to join our team, working under the supervision of the Manager of People & Culture. This role is essential in supporting our People and Culture team in training and coordination activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate training sessions in collaboration with the People and Culture team.
- Manage scheduling, logistics, and communication for training initiatives.
- Support special projects in areas such as recruitment, retention, or performance programs
- General administrative support: Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, organization.
- Communication, working in Word or Excel creating/updating documents with accuracy
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by effectively communicating with team members.

**Qualifications**:

- Enrolled in Post Secondary Education with an interest in Human Resources.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
