**Key Responsibilities**:
**IT Technician**:
- Respond to and resolve all employee requests regarding in-house IT issues across all VCCL locations.
- Document support requests in ticketing system.
- Ensure that computers, printers, phones, local networks, TVs, peripherals etc. are labeled, maintained, and deployed.
- Order additional equipment and supplies as needed.
- Serve as a single point of contact for in-house technology managed by third parties.
- Engage third-party vendors for support, licensing, and Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
- Maintain inventory of employee-related technology equipment (keyboards, mice, laptops, docking stations, monitors, phones, etc.)
- Implement the policies for the use of computers and related equipment.
- Setup, maintain, and administer security policies for employee permissions and user accounts.
- Setup, maintain, and administer SharePoint security policies and permissions.
- Setup, maintain, and administer corporate cell phone plan, and hardware.
- Coordinate with Server Administrator.
**NOC Technician**:
- Adhere to all network privacy and security protocols.
- Answer customer support calls professionally.
- Collect information from customers and forward to the appropriate Department.
- Diagnose, resolve, or escalate technical issues using various software tools.
- Document support requests in ticketing system.
- Assist field technicians with in-house support requests.
- Monitor network services and act when alerts come in.
- Verify NOC inventory such that it is ready for dispatch.
- Ensure all VCCL equipment is properly labeled.
- Assist with the provisioning and deployment of network equipment.
- Be available outside of business hours on an on-call basis.
**Required Experience and Education**:
- Technology degree or diploma is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with an acceptable Driver’s Abstract.
**Required Skills**:
- Basic understanding of network architecture fundamentals.
- Must be physically fit and be able to lift 30 lbs safely.
- Basic understanding and safe use of hand tools.
- Strong English communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with respect and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and use of good judgment in response to unexpected problems.
- Reliable and dependable.
**What do we have to offer?**
- Compensation will be based on a combination of experience and education. Salary ranges between $55,000.00/Annually - $75,000.00/Annually.
- Potential for yearly bonus that is calculated on key company financial metrics.
- Participation in the Family Extended Health Benefits program after completion of 90-day probationary period.
- Guaranteed two weeks’ holiday.
- Upon Management approval - Vincent Communications may pay for approved additional training and courses as well as compensation for the time required to complete them.
**Salary**: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
