General Labourer

Landcore Drilling has provided environmental, geotechnical drilling services to Northern Ontario since 2004.

We are currently looking for Driller Helpers to join our Northern Ontario team.

The Driller’s Helper is responsible for assisting the Driller with their duties while ensuring compliance with Landcore Drilling’s policies and procedures.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Set-up and take down of drilling equipment
- Assisting in the safe operation of the drill process
- Completing safety paperwork and completing inspections of sites and equipment
- Using hand tools (shovel, pipe-wrench, hammer, small hand tools, etc.)
- Loading materials and equipment for each project as required
- Mobilizations and demobilizations of drilling equipment
- Washing Equipment
- Fueling Equipment and vehicles
- Shop, yard, office, and work area housekeeping
- Retrieving parts from suppliers

**Qualifications**:

- Good Physical ability
- G class drivers license (DZ/AZ license an asset)
- Current safety tickets (WHMIS, First Aid) an asset but not required
- Prepared to work outdoors in an energetic team environment.
- Ready and willing to do out of town work, rarely any weekends. Per-diem paid in cash before leaving for the week.
- Steel-toed work boots, all other PPE and job specific training will be provided by the Company.

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chelmsford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- construction: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
