As a part of the team you will be playing a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience, and guiding each guest through a new approach to dining in Calgary. You will be responsible for answering phones, booking reservations, seating guests, supporting the floor staff, and maintaining a timeless environment throughout service.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and welcome guests making them feel welcome
- Take guests through the menu and concept ensuring they have a memorable experience
- Booking reservations
- Using Opentable to maximize each seating
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area throughout service
- Work with the rest of the team to ensure a positive work environment
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit
- Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure guest safety

**Qualifications**
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest interactions
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and approachable at all times on the floor
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terms
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Familiarity with Opentable
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Speaking Italian is not required but is a big asset
