Babysitter

**Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.**

- **Start date**: ASAP
- **Length of Position**: Long term
- **Schedule**: Intermittent; 1-2 days per month as follows between 6pm-11pm
- **Compensation**: $22-28 CAD per hour

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Bedtime routines during evening shifts
- Engaging with children
- Occasional bathroom assistance for 4 year old
- Tidying related to children
- Walks to nearby playground

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional childcare experience as a babysitter, nanny, or in a daycare setting
- Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew
- Must be eligible to work in Canada/Canadian citizen
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age to apply

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

- This family lives in Vic West, near downtown Victoria, B.C., Canada. Approximately how much of a commute will this position be for you (in minutes).
- This family needs backup care between the hours of 6pm-11pm. Please share your general availability for backup care within this time frame.
