As a part-time Winery Tasting Associate, your primary responsibility is to create a positive and enjoyable wine-tasting experience for visitors to the winery. Your main duties will include:
Conducting wine tastings: You will be responsible for conducting wine tastings for visitors to the winery. This will include pouring and explaining the different wines, as well as answering any questions that customers may have.

Providing excellent customer service: You will need to be friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable about the winery's products in order to provide excellent customer service. You should be able to anticipate customers' needs and preferences, and make recommendations based on their tastes.

Sales and promotions: You will be responsible for promoting the winery's products and making sales. This may involve making suggestions to customers about which wines to purchase, or providing information about promotions and discounts.

Maintaining the tasting room: You will be responsible for ensuring that the tasting room is clean and presentable at all times. This may involve stocking wine bottles and merchandise, cleaning glasses, and organizing the tasting room.

Knowledge of wine-making processes: You will need to have a basic understanding of the wine-making process, the different types of wine, and the characteristics that make each wine unique.

Other duties: You may be required to assist with other tasks as assigned, such as helping with events or providing support to other areas of the winery.

**Requirements**:
Must be at least 19 years or older

Must have excellent communication and customer service skills

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds

Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Must have a basic knowledge of wine or a WSET 1 or have worked in the industry for 1 year

Previous experience in a tasting room or winery is preferred, but not required.

Overall, the role of a part-time Winery Tasting Associate is crucial to the success of the winery. You will be responsible for creating an inviting and memorable experience for customers, while also promoting the winery's products and ensuring that the tasting room is well-maintained.
