**About Us**:
Gate 22 Winery (formally known as Cavallo Winery) is a boutique winery dedicated to crafting exceptional wines and offering visitors an unforgettable experience.

**Position Overview**:
This is a hybrid role consisting of sales hours between Monday-Wednesday and tasting room hours between Thursday-Sunday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by offering wine tastings, answering questions about our wines and wine-making process, and assisting with purchases.
- Retail Operations: Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately using our POS system.
- Packaging: Building and carefully packaging wine boxes for retail and shipping orders.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization within the tasting room and retail area to ensure an inviting atmosphere for our guests.
- Event Support: Set up and take down equipment and decorations for winery events, such as tastings, private parties, and festivals.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the tasting room and adherence to company standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service roles preferred.
- Knowledge of wine and/or a willingness to learn about wine varietals, production techniques, and wine regions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, such as bending, standing for extended periods, and carrying wine boxes down stairs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 32 per week
