Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement music lesson plans for students of various ages and skill levels
- Teach music theory, techniques, and performance skills
- Provide individual and group instruction in a classroom or tutoring setting
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other music teachers and staff to coordinate performances and events
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

**Experience**:

- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in music education or early childhood education
- Strong knowledge of music theory, techniques, and performance skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students of different ages and backgrounds
- Experience in tutoring or providing individualized instruction is a plus
- Ability to play a musical instrument(s) proficiently is preferred

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week
