Provide HSE guidance, support and oversight to the Project and its personnel.

**Job Duty**:

- Manage and lead the HSE portfolio at the project’s work planning and execution processes
- Foster hazard assessment and control for site tasks and activities.
- Lead HSE orientation and training delivery.
- Coordinate HSE communication and, as required, liaison with external agencies
- Lead and coordinate HSE inspections
- Investigate and report HSE incidents
- Generate and report Project-level HSE statistics and performance indicators
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Management

**Requirements**:

- Education: college diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
- Recent safety program graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of 1 year of progressive work experience in Construction (preferably
- heavy civil projects) preferred
- Effective computer software skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work respectfully and cooperatively with others
- Pragmatic “Can Do” attitude, knack for problem solving and drive for success
- Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with a wide range of individuals and issues
- Valid WHMIS, First Aid (Valid OFA 2 or higher), and other Health and Safety training certificates are an asset
- Valid driving license and reliable transportation
