**Title**: Pipelayer Helper
**Location**: Edmonton, AB
**Position Type**: Seasonal Full Time
**Reporting To**: Underground Foreman

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Carry out site foreman’s directives safely throughout daily operations
- Assist in Install various sizes/material of pipe as well as manholes, catch basins, valves, hydrants, etc.
- Monitor backfill of pipe bedding to ensure proper pipe support
- Ability to safely work around excavation equipment in deep trenches
- Dig trenches to required depths by hand or using trenching tools
- Train, mentor and motivate junior crew members
- Perform other duties as required
- Ability to work as part of a team

**Required Experience & Additional Requirements**:

- Thorough understanding of construction site safety practices
- Must have your own transportation
- Physically demanding outdoor conditions
- Overtime will be required during peak construction months
- CSA approved steel-toed boots with 6” ankle support
- RSTS or CSTS Certificate is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
