**Role**

The Foreman will supervise the carpentry activities of the project, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Foreman is responsible for training and managing a team of carpenters and other construction workers, delegating tasks, inspecting work, and ensuring that all code and safety regulations are followed. The Foreman is also responsible for scheduling work and coordinating with other foreman and subtrades to ensure that projects stay on track and within budget.

**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpenters
- Ensure that assigned projects are completed in a timely and safe manner
- Plan and assign tasks to carpenters
- Schedule and coordinate carpentry activities with other trades and project personnel
- Inspect and evaluate completed carpentry projects
- Train and mentor carpenters in proper and safe job performance
- Assist in hiring and evaluating personnel
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and requirements

**Requirements**:

- 5-10 years experience, Red Seal preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Experience leading and supervising carpenters and other construction personnel
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

- Carpentry: 5 years (preferred)
