Christ The Redeemer (CTR) Catholic Schools serves approximately 10,000 students, 500 teachers and 250 support staff in southern Alberta, centered in Okotoks, Alberta. Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools provides an authentic Catholic education to students in traditional schools in Canmore, Brooks, Drumheller, High River, Okotoks, Oyen and Strathmore and Online Schooling and Shared Responsibility Programs to students all over Alberta and around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to determine the causes of challenging behaviours.
- Design, implement, and monitor Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support staff to embed effective behaviour strategies into school settings.
- Provide training and coaching to school staff on evidence-based behaviour management techniques.
- Engage and collaborate with families to promote consistency across home and school environments.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation related to assessments, interventions, and progress tracking.
- Stay current with developments in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and contribute to ongoing service improvements.
- Ensure adherence to Behaviour Analyst Certification Board ethical standards and provincial educational policies.
- Travel throughout our division will be required.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree (or higher) in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Current BCBA certification in good standing with the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in an educational setting.
- A current criminal record check with vulnerable sector clearance is required prior to employment.
- Proven ability to develop and implement individualized behaviour intervention plans.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
