Toddle Inn Day Care Society is looking for a motivated, active and passionate Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or Level 3 for our Non-Profit Daycare

Toddle Inn Day Care is a non-profit and has been providing child care to surrounding areas for over 40 years. The daycare provides care to children from newborn to 12-years of age.

**Qualifications**
- Child Development Certificate (Level 2 or 3)
- Current First Aid
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (obtained in the last 3 months)
- Minimum 2 years experience in childcare or related field
- Flight training considered to be an asset
- Knowledge of Non-profit organizations considered to be an asset

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children
- Uphold the policies and procedures as well as the program plan in place
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment
- Effective supervision of children
- Communicate effectively with families regarding children's progress and needs
- Maintain First Aid Certification and respond appropriately to emergencies
- Collaborate and communicate with colleagues to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Confidentiality is required for the protection and privacy of staff and families
- Utilizing technology for communication with families
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Making a difference in the children of the future

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $17.50-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
